EDIT provides a Youth Aftercare Support Group for young people aged 15-21 years old who are drug/alcohol free.

This group provides a space for young people to chat about their issues and to give each other support and advice on managing to stay drug and alcohol free when others around them are using.

We stress the importance of fun and offer regular outings to group members to promote sober socialising!

This group meets every Thursday from 7pm – 8.pm

Young Person's Support Programme

EDIT Youth Team provides support for young people aged 14-17 who have a family member in their life who uses alcohol or drugs.

The Young Person’s Support Programme is run one afternoon per week over eight weeks. It aims to support and develop young people’s coping skills for dealing with family members or friends who use alcohol or drugs.

Sometimes people who don’t use drugs or alcohol are forgotten about, (not on purpose) as everyone is trying to sort out the needs of the person who is using substances.

This programme is like a providing a tool box of skills to young people in order to help them cope better with stressful situations.

Our next programme is running from February 2020.

Please contact Marie or David if you would like to know more about the programme.
